Mission Statement
The mission of Zion Hill Baptist Church is:
- To exalt the Saviour,
- To evangelize the sinner,
- To edify the saint. This we try to do through every ministry in the church.
- Home and foreign missions: Here at the church we have the privilege to help support many missionaries at home and around the world through Faith Promise Missions.
- Youth Ministries: The youth get together once a month at Open Gym Night for a time of food, fun and fellowship. Once a year we go to a Christian Camp or on a Youth Retreat. The youth also get to help every week in the children’s ministries.
- Children Ministries: We have Children’s Church every Sunday Morning with adults who are dedicated to this ministry. Wednesday nights during the school year we have King’s Kids for all age groups. During the summer months, when most churches take a break with children ministries, we have Kids 4 Truth each Wednesday Night.
- F.A.N. “Friends and Neighbors” meet once a month, for those who don’t work or are retired, for a time of prayer, Bible study, fellowship and a meal. Sometimes we go on day trips to local places of interest.
- Mission Suites: God have blessed us with great facilities on our campus, one of the buildings is used to help missionaries and people in full time ministry who are passing through the Greenville area a room for a short stay. We have seven bedrooms, a game room for the children, a hospitality room where you can fellowship with others, a gym where they can play and exercise, a laundry room so they don’t have to go to the area laundromat, a kitchen to prepare meals and an ample size missionary closet to help meet the needs of the missionary while traveling. - Music Ministry: Choir music, Special singing and a place for you if you play an instrument.
- Sunday School: A class for every age group with dedicated teachers in each class from Nursery to Adult classes.
